What are you calling into your life this year?

Let's make 2025 our healthiest and happiest year yet.

The beginning of the year is the best time to set our intentions. This is our moment to redefine what health, wellness, and athletic achievement mean for us and create a vision that allows us to get one step closer to our best selves. We're not just focusing on personal records and finish lines (though that Strava trophy would be nice!) – we're building a foundation for sustainable, healthy habits. As we step into 2025, let’s call our shot.

  1. Let's call in movement that feels good and serves our bodies. This isn't about punishing workouts or following trending fitness challenges. Instead, focus on activities that bring joy and strengthen your connection to your body. Maybe it's finally trying that dance class, joining a local recreational league, or simply committing to regular walking dates with friends.

  2. This year, we're manifesting deeper connections within the BIPOC athletic community. Whether it's gathering for game watch parties (WNBA Watch Circle and Basketball Watch Club host some in Chicago!), joining Black-owned fitness studios, or creating group chats to celebrate our favorite athletes' victories, community amplifies our journeys.

  3. We're calling in a new definition of self-care that honors our melanated skin, our unique body types, and our cultural traditions. This means investing in recovery practices, finding healthcare providers who understand your specific needs, and creating routines that support your athletic or fitness aspirations.

  3. Let's manifest more visibility of athletes who look like us, not just as spectators but as active participants in our own fitness journeys. We're calling in the confidence to see ourselves reflected in every aspect of sports and wellness.

Community helps us thrive

Whatever your health and wellness goals are, you don’t have to strive for them alone.

  • Host a vision board party featuring your athletic and wellness goals

  • Join or create a fitness accountability group with other BIPOC women

  • Follow and engage with Black and Brown wellness creators and athletes

  • Invest in quality workout gear that makes you feel confident

  • Document your journey to inspire others in the community

What we call into our lives becomes our reality. In 2025, let's manifest a year where our bodies thrive and our community grows stronger.
